The Midlife Midwife Teacher Training 2.0 runs from November 11, 2026 to Wednesday April 14, 2027. We are on break for the last two weeks of December and will resume the Wednesday, January 6).
In the MMTT you will learn:
• to guide midlife women through their Midlife Rites of Passage. From the death of their First Act to the birth of their Second.
• to hold women through the midlife cocoon disintegration phase.+ to support women in alchemizing the medicine of their dark night at midlife.
• to assist women in identifying their First Act Masks.
• to Officiate Midlife Unmasking Ceremonies.
• to Officiate First Act Funerals.
• to guide women from their Archetypal Mother and Summer Season into their Archetypal Enchantress and Autumn Season.+ to support women in deepening into their Autumn Season.
• The “G/Rage” Stage: hold women through their midlife grief and rage.
• to support women in accessing and re-Mothering the Inner Teen.
• to Tend to the Inner Teen
• Her Unlived Dreams.+ to support women in creating and embodying their Second Act Archetype and Second Act Life.
• to support women in the release of their patriarchal traits and in remembering their innate Matriarchal ways.

This work is dedicated to my mother, Elizabeth Zintl, who died in the middle of her Midlife Rites of Passage at 45. After her last words to me at seventeen, her hand went limp in mine, and she closed her eyes for the final time. I will never forget that cold January day that she died. I had always wished and prayed she could have survived that dark divide and made it to her Second Act of Life. Then, the day came when I too turned forty-five, and I also felt like I could die. That time was so dark and dangerous, I could easily see how so many do not make it out alive, or just die inside and never come back to life.
And I realized that what I needed was what my mother had needed before me. She needed a Midlife Midwife.
And so did I, but no one else was talking about the Midlife Rites. So, ever the Dark Feminine Archaeologist and Explorer, and like I did with the Maiden to Mother Rites before, I created my own Midlife Rites of Passage. But I- nor others- should never have had to go alone.
So now this is what I know: Every Woman Deserves a Midlife Midwife. Every woman deserves deep support at her midlife crossroads.
Calendar:
Beginning 11/11/26, MMTT gathers once a week, on Wednesdays, for 22 Weeks (5.5 months)
Curriculum Calendar: The pace and space of this curriculum is meant to ease - not add to- the already full life of the Midlife Woman with the weight of the world on her back and in her lap.
To ensure spaciousness and time to integrate, MMTT gathers once week, every Wednesday at NOON EST. All calls recorded & stored in private teacher’s vault.

After Wednesday Every Teaching Call, The following Wednesday is a Q + A, Practice Integration Call for the Training Teachers. December and will resume the Wednesday, January 6).

The Midlife Midwife Teacher Training gives you the tools, the teachings & rituals to navigate your own Midlife Crossing AND to support the Midlife Women with whom you live and circle.
In this deeply transformative and liberating Rites of Passage, students are initiated to become Midlife Midwives to midwife women at midlife women into their Second Act of Life.
I am ready to Guide the Guides, Teach the Teachers, and Hold Space for the Space Holders in this 22-week second ever Midlife Midwife Teacher’s Training.
Did you know, can you remember, in your bones, that you were never meant to walk your Rites of Passage alone?
In pre-patriarchal times, we would have never moved through major transitions and deep-sea changes alone in life.
We would always have walked through Rites of Passage with our sisters and elders by our side.
In Matriarchy wise women supported us like Matriarchal Midwives, helping us navigate our passages and rites.
Midlife is a dark and deeply transformative time. And it is infinitely harder without a Midlife Midwife. Without crossing consciously through the crisis, “Most people die at fifty and are buried at eighty,” says Jett Psaris, author of “Hidden Blessings: The Midlife Crisis as Spiritual Awakening.”
This training gives you the tools to move through Midlife Limbo. Every woman at Midlife deserves a Midlife Midwife tosupport what is dying and tend to what is rising.

Week 1 - “Welcome to Midlife Midwife Teacher Training.”
A Foundational Introduction to the work, its origins, and the phases of the Midlife Metamorphosis. Learn the basics of Rites of Passage and find your Midlife Phase. Meet Sarah, each other, and the Support Team of Midlife Midwives.
Week 2 - “Foundational Teachings Integration.”

Week 3 - “A Misogynist Mystery: The Missing Autumn Season.”
Patriarchy buried women’s Autumn Season for a reason. All our spiritual lives, most of us have only known the Triple Goddess Archetype of “Maiden (Spring), Mother (Summer), Crone (Winter).” But this model is incomplete: because Mother Earth has four seasons, and so do we. So where did Fall Go? Why did patriarchy bury her below? Remember the Buried Autumn Season and the Enchantress Archetype. How can we learn from teachings of the Autumn Season and Tree?
Week 4 - “Autumnal Woman Integration.”

Week 5 - "The Midlife Split."
This is it, where the road splits. This is where your head and heart enter a rift. This is the beginning of the end of it all. The writing is on the wall; your tower is about to fall. This is the beginning of the end of your First Act, when your first life masks are starting to crack. How do we trust the process when most people are telling us to fix ourselves in a hurry and “fix” ourselves and go back to who we used to be. Meet Hecate, the Goddess of the Crossroads,She Who Supports & Guides women at Midlife to Choose the Unlived Life.
Week 6 - “Midlife Split Integration”

UnMasking from the First Act to Free She Who Lies Beneath and Hear what She is Asking. Hear stories of Midlife UnMasking + Learn the UnMasking Ceremony.
Week 8 - "Unmasking Ceremony Practice + Integration."

Week 9 - "Our bodies are changing like Trees and Becoming “Invisible.”
Women were told we had a patriarchal shelf life, but the truth is we enter a magical, spiritual world after Midlife. Deconstructing our Patriarchal Ageism and Misogyny. Implementing Midlife Muses for Inspiration. Re-honoring the mature feminine + feminine aging, decentering patriarchal men, and living through a pro-aging Matriarchal Lens.Where does the patriarchal man live inside of us? Evicting him and returning to the Goddess.
Week 10 - "Week Ten. “Invisibility” + Midlife Muse Integration."

Week 11 - "Grieving Summer."
Do something our mothers never got to do: honor the death of the Archetypal Mother, Her Season’s End, and the Archetypal Mother You. Honoring the grief of our recent past and having compassion for how hard we tried to make it last. Learning to Release our First Act and patriarchal Identity like Autumn Trees letting go of their leaves.
Week 12 - "Integration of Summer Grieving and the First Act Leaving."

OFFICIATING FIRST ACT FUNERALS. We can’t move forward unless we have honored Her. Guide Women in curating a First Act Funeral Ceremony. Support women in laying down their First Act Lives, with love, honor and intention.
Week 14 - "Integrating the First Act Funeral"

Week 15 - "BUILDING THE SECOND ACT."
From the Depth of our Darkest Night comes the Light. Learning the Alchemy of our Darkest Night of our Midlife Rites. Accessing the Inner Enchantress/ Autumnal Woman/ Second Act Us and Listening to What She is Asking of Us.
Week 16 - "Integrating the Second Act Archetype Teachings."

Week 17 - "The Matriarchal Masculine."
Co-Taught with Megan Callahan & Kamya O’Keeffe. “What about the men?” After we have decentered patriarchal men, we remember men who once centered and protected Earth, women and children. The Enchantress has the power to Make Men Matriarchal Again.
Week 18 - "Matriarchal Masculine Integration."

Week 19 - "INNER TEEN SPIRIT."
Midlife is a return to teen hood: Sometimes called the Second Adolescence or Cougar Puberty. Learn to access & ten to the Inner Teen. Practice repair & tending to her, and accessing her Unlived Dreams.

Week 20 - "Coming Into Butterfly Consciousness"
Learn to Officiate the Second Act Blessing Way. Honoring with Ceremony the woman birthing from the ash of her First Act.
